  • Lottery Scam

    Hi,

Anyone receiving the following message...igonre it. 'Mr' Bill answers...but (and with all due respect) he sounded like an ethnic gentleman who had about three words of English. I shall be alterting the UK police to this...not because I did anything...because I'm bored and was unusually ****ed off at the idea that someone believes people are so gullible. He emailed me back with a 'claim' form...sure I'm going to give you my address when an email like this is attached!
There was another, I have since deleted it. It read along the lines (when I requested his company registration number etc) of 'we're legitimate...just send the claim form'

The best I have heard about (didn't read myself) came froma lady I work with. She got an email from someone claiming to know her son, (who had died years ago) and desparately asking for money. Apparently the scammers were targeting older folks with kids. Have you ever seen that will smith movie where he plays a gay con artist? It was like that only by email. She actually fell for it and was going to mail the guy a check untill she happened to discuss it with someone (her daughter I think) and was suspicious of the fraud. They apparently took great lengths to personalize the email... used her son's first name and everything... That is convincing.

On a side note: I saw that will smith movie years ago, and am always reminded of it when I think of this story.. anyone know what movie Im talking about? I cant remember the name? Its the only movie he has played a queer in as far as i know, but it was one of his best performances nonetheless.

The obvious mistake here is that the Euromillions Lotto is in Euros and not dollars! :P And why would it include countries like Africa?

Um its a NIGERIAN based scam.

HOw many "whiteys" live in Nigeria let alone Africa compared to the Black population. If you read the site it says it has nothing to with Race, just a race of assholes (scammers)
