I like it needs some work but it looks like it will be great onces painted
I love the foyer looks nice
Does it need anything else besides some new paint and wallpaper?
Hows the wood in bedroom 3? looks like it will be nice once polished
Pretty much, new floors upstairs, paint and bathroom fixtures. New windows are going in in the Spring (Paid for by seller ).
The wood in bedroom 3 was bowing. I tore into it and found one of the windows had previously leaked... there was about 10 billion colonies of mold on the other side of the paneling. That should be taken care of tomorrow though.
I'm afraid to look behind the wood paneling in the family room now... But it should be ok.
If you check page 7 it shows what I plan on doing in the next few seasons.
Condos near campus can run 250k+
Lofts downtown... 350k+
The house I bought was built in 1963, I paid $118,000 USD for it.
Three others in my area were going for 125k-140k. Similar styles/features.
Two years ago I was looking at the $80k range, quite a few out there, but all were worse off than this AND heck of a lot smaller. If I bumped it up to my spending limit $220k I could have gotten a pretty nice place with a little more land, but I didn't want to pay ~$2500/mo.
Then there are multi million dollar estates.
I'd say 750k could buy you pretty much anything you wanted in Ohio. There are some really nice gated comunities that that would be a little low but anything around me, that'd take care of it.
