  • What CPU should i pair with this mobo?

    Can any1 help me pair a P4 cpu to this mobo:

    I want atleast a 2.8 ghz, i found it paired with a celeron d but i dont know how good celerons are... Does ne1 think this is a good pair:

                    I don't know why everyone *****es about VIA chipsets, either. They're not my favorite, but I've never had an issue with them.
                    Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
                    How about the Wiki?

                      well, yeh VIA chipsets arnt exactly bad, the new ones are top notch i think, well i have one, though the older chipsets were kinda fussy about hardware you paired them up with.
                      CarPC status: iPod, 3,456,217 songs so **** you

                        Celerons are ok for your GF... its not like she plays games or does programming

                        I've never had good experiences with VIA chipsets. They always seem to be slower than their nVidia counterparts.
