there are many uncontrolled intersections in la crosse (the town where i live) and on my way home i slowed, looked, didnt see anything, then started to cross. a girl came from my right and didn't even slow. i saw her at the last second and hit the brakes and swerved (slightly) to the right. she has a bent in driver door, and my whole front end is shot to ****. now its time to have many lonmg discussions with my insurance guy

I'm sorry to say this, but if the whole front end is displaced they will probably total the car.

If it's not your fault (you said she was speeding) your insurance shouldn't go up and her insurance should pay for it.
