    Bissell Little Green Machine

I detailed cars for an income throughout college.

    Ferrari's, Porsche's, Maserati's, etc.

    This is what I used.

Using their formulas I was able to get melted lipstick and chocolate w/ caramel out of the carpet in a Maserati.

I was also able to get spilled coke that had been sitting for about 3 months out as well in a Ford truck.

I was able to get the rancid smell of stale milk and baby fecis out of an Explorer.

It also cleans your furniture quite well, and your carpet in your house (for those annoying little stains MONTHS later).

Get the one with heat and use the (yes it's more expensive but it actually works, unlike the other stuff) Bissell branded cleaners.

When I bought that machine 4+ years ago, it was ~100, it's JUST now stopped squirting, but it still sucks like there's no tomorrow...lol

Get the one with heat. The turbo nozzle thing isn't all that, so if you don't think you need it, don't worry about it.

I bought that machine yesterday from walmart.lol it was $68.88, NO heat tho. I just took it to a place that details car and they told me to get a carpet die and that will take car of the problem.

carpet dye to get dirt out!?

          wtf?

          maybe I'm missing something here????

that's like filling in a chrome bumper with scratches using the chrome colored paint pen when you really need to have the bumper rechromed...

what kind of detail shop was this? one of those that does about 100 cars a day and has a line of people drying the cars....full detail for only $15!

                          and it didn't do anything?

how was the water that it pulled back up? did it make it any better?

if you did that and you didn't get any better results, then yes, I can see the dye being the next option

IT got better, but not as much as i thought. The water that came back black, but as you can see those brown spot and its annoying me. I still think that there is something i can do to take it out tho.

how many times have you done it?

many times I've had to do it over and over, you might consider getting a spray bottle of Oxy stuff and use that on top of the normal bissell stuff too.
