  • 2003 Toyota Corolla Mac Mini Install

    Computer Equipment:
    -Apple Mac Mini (1.66GHz Intel Core Duo, 1GB RAM, 60GB HDD)
    -Lilliput 619GL-70NP 7" touchscreen LCD
    -Carnetix P1900 power supply
    -Happy Hacking Keyboard Lite 2 USB (perfect fit in the glove box)
    -Logitech V320 cordless mouse
    -Vantec UGTCR820H card reader/USB hub
    -USGlobalSat BU-353 GPS receiver

    Audio Equipment:
    -Panasonic CQ-C7413U receiver
    -JL Audio 500/5 five-channel amp
    -Boston Acoustics Pro60's
    -JL Audio 10W6v2 sub

    I wish I could take credit for the install, but I owe everything to the guys at Auto Toyz in Coralville, IA

        looks good and clean, do you have any space under the mac for cooling? or just hoping it don't fry...

              The Mini sticks out just enough so that air gets in the front and there's room in the back for exhaust...though I'm sure it gets pretty toasty (haven't tested yet).

              I'm using Front Row. Works just fine, but I'm struggling to find a good GPS solution. So far, I've used MS Streets & Trips with Parallels and I've just traded that in for CoPilot.

                        Front Ends: Ice3 in OS X, Streetdeck, and Riderunner - Digital FX, - Elite in Windows (depending on mood)
                        Apple Bluetooth Keyboard
                        Kensington slimblade bluetooth mouse
                        "Camputer - 2005 Toyota Camry LE"
