    Hello...this is my first post on this forum,and i'd like to to all!

    from what i've seen most members have their on carpc,so...i join this communitywith hope that i will finish my project
    Because of the low budget i only have an 5"LCD display mounted in my car
    i used plastic pice to make the board
    [img=http://img160.imageshack.us/img160/483/image026lx4.th.jpg]
    [img=http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/5561/image031hm7.th.jpg]
    [img=http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/2291/image034sv9.th.jpg]
    i think that was easy...because i must build the computer...already purchased the video adapter(Geforce2mx400..64mbram) , a cheap soundcard(genius with cmi8738chipset) , a dvdrom, a touchpad from a laptop that i've rewired to work on a ps2 port , 512mb ddr400 and one UPS that will be used as an dc/ac inverter.
    I must find a cheap motherboard+processor,the ATXpower supply then i can build the pc
    Do you think it will work?

    p.s. excuse my english skils...the launguage i learned in school was french

          Since this is not yet a completed vehicle computer project, this thread has been relocated to the Worklogs forum.
          Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
          How about the Wiki?

              Use the CD-RB10 Aux adapter from pioneer. It changes the p-bus cable to RCA inputs.

                        What is the Oltcit? A Romanian Citroen?
                        .

                          in a few words
                          in the 80's Citroen has came with a prototipe of this car,and the place suitable for building was in romania(precisely somewhere near Craiova city)
                          and they start the mass production in 1981 with 3 moddels
                          Club- flat four engine(1129cm³,4speed manual gearbox)
                          Special- flat 2 angine (652 cm³ , 4 speed manual gearbox{this one is a very short shift gearbox specialy designed for this little engine)
                          And finaly Club 12TRS(or AXEL12TRS) this one has a flat four engine(1229cm³ , 5speed manual gearbox)

                          Comparing to other cars made in the 80" this one barely seems to be a car but now has become a rare car,we have a forum of our own,from time to time we gather in diffrent places in the country

                          if you want to see more

                          that is the side of the forum where are described some of the members cars(including mine's )

                            Interesting! I guessed Citroen because of the "cit" in the name. It's neat to see that you're driving a classic.

                            That site would be easier for me if I had language skills beyond English, a little German, even less Spanish, and a smattering of French and Vietnamese phrases, almost all of which have slipped away with disuse.

                            I did go to Wikipedia, and found a small amount of information on Oltcits there, plus a few links.
                            .

                              our forum has a small part in english(for the people outside romanian teritory,because this car was eported in europe and south america) most topics in the forum are in romanian language...
                              when i bought the car looked like this

                              i think i've made a small "face lift"
                              i've installed electric power windows,central door locking ,alarm,a decent audio sistem,now the carpc
                              now i'm thinking to mount some air conditioner system(in the summer the temp inside the car comme near 40degree celsius...kinda hot )
