  • My Very simple 1din motorized monitor carputer setup. Alfa 156GTA

Took several days to install but its complete. (Sort of)
Fitted in a Kenwood 500W Power amp, carnetix p1900,
Acer L5100 tiny computer which has a AMD 2G Processer, ATi X1300 GFX and 2G of Ram and 160GB HDD, running Windows XP Tiny.

Using the stock skin of RR (cause i am having a hard time embededing dashcommand into digital FX. Help! XD) modified a bit so instead of sat radio it iwll turnon dashcommand

Next step will be hooking up a TV Tuner, camera from front, side and rear of the car, and a G Meter.
Here are the pictures and worklog.

    Pic of the car.

HEre is the computer setup running trails at my home bench, testing out OS and dash settings.

Installation pics and how wires are runned, i forgot to take camera so i only took these pics with my phone.. sorry about that.

Final setup in the trunk of my car, not very safe at the time being, more will be added to protect the computer. but its all good for now.

Pics of the GPS and one of the dashboard.
To see the dash in action, see this link

Pretty cool - I like the gauges as well. I've thought about adding GPS to mine - how has it been working for you?

well i dunno where are you from but here in HK, GPS sucks. it always point to the wrong directions and tell you to turn right when there is a wall. but its nice to have something when you are totally lost...

Its in the trunk here my computer is, i am not a video guy so most of my vids are in RMVB or AVI formats. there is a USB port in front for the memory sticks.
