    New to the forums. I just completed the major install portion of my carputer.
    Hardware:
    -Epia ITX mainboard
    -512 MB DDR
    -Opus Solutions 90Watt DC power
    -40 gig Western Digital 5400 HD
    -Delorme Earthmate GPS
    -Xenarc 700TS Touchscreen
    -DLink FM USB radio
    -Infinity Digital 50 Amp (stock speakers)
    -Sprint PCS cell w/ Internet service
    -Gravitron wireless keyboard and mouse

              Very inspirational! I'd love to do something similar to my Civic, good to see. Very professional looking, WTG!

              Just one question, maybe I'm blind, but I didn't see any optical drive anywhere in those pics, where did you hide it, or did you include one?

                  When I collect my 04 Civic CTR I'm planning to put my Car Computer straight into it, and hopefully without too much trouble.

                        Playing with Bondo

                        I had to fix the first dash install. It looked ok but it really needed to be made a little more custom. Theres some more pics at the at the end showing my fun with bondo. http://www.putrightpc.com/projects/carputer/

                            Isn't there a kit somwhere we can buy that will make installing a lcd easier on a civic? I really don't want to cut up my dash. I just want to buy a piece of plastic that already fits on there. I wish I had time for all this custom fabrication, but I don't!
