      That's cause it is.

Those are the "concept shots" I photoshopped to get an idea on placement.

That's just one of the galleries. There are galleries for everything else done so far. Project is 95% done, just waiting on the LCD to arrive to install in the car.

If the admins feel this is 'too soon' to post, then by all means, delete it.

That would be a little Goofy plush keychain thingy.

I'm working on the LCD right now actually. Was delivered yesterday.

                      Quote (from your site)

"Silly me didn't think that running the carputer, LCD, and stereo on ACC would be a bad idea. 20 minutes later I had a dead battery. Doh! Today, I'll try with the engine running "

You are using the opus 90w,right? I thought that using the opus you could have your carputer running with the engine off for more than 20 minutes and still be able to start the car.(some people say that using epia´s Mb and opus, its possible to use the carputer up to 30 minutes with the engine off and still be able to start your car).
When my Opus arrives, i will make a test with an old battery....
Here in Portugal we have great weather, lots of brunnets, party a lot, drink a lot....

I was gonna use the 20 minute time but set it 10 seconds after that. I'm not 100% sure that was the cause of the battery dying, but I don't see what it could've been.

I should also say it 20-30 minutes of running on ACC. I'm not entirely sure. But please let us know about your findings. I don't wanna switch to 20 min and find another dead battery

Here's some pics of my setup from the morning. It's quite a mess right now. I also have the LCD taped in place right now until I find a spot I'm satisfied with.

Tonight I'm gonna clean it up, run the wires under the carpet and stuff. Make it all perty like

                            nice... 2 questions for you.

                            1) How did you get that LCD mount...mounted?

                            2) I see you pulled the bottom bay out by cup holder. Is that bay deep enough for a stereo receiver? One option I was thinking of doing is moving the Stereo down there and getting an in-dash display housing for the LCD for where the stereo is now.

I really don't like the idea of having the LCD 'out in the open' for trips downtown, around the French Quarter and such. Not the safest areas of the city. Being able to hide the LCD is my final goal on the project.
