  • '94 Proton Indash & Epia Install

Spent the last 6 hours building up the site.

Its not really stable.. hit refresh if you think its not coming up right. That's what happens when you use free servers =P

Let me know what you think.

I quickly built a forum at that site too.

First I would like to say I really like your flash animation of the screen coming out, rotating, and going back in. For some reason the gif one wasn't working?

The return buttons on the bottoms of the page don't work either. And neither does the store link.

Good job on putting the screen in the in-dash popout housing. And the plexiglass case is off tha hook!!!

    Thanks.

      Thanks for the reply Hussein..

Thanks for the notification that the back button doesnt work. And the gif file.. apparently the server blocks any gif file over 1 mb. That gif animation was 1.8 mb. Hrmm Ill have to find another file server that I could link to.. not easy.

The store hasnt been implemented yet. I got a bunch of epia's and lilliputs with me right now and I will be selling those off

that's why i offered this place use of my server. i got 10 gigs of transfer, it's not like this'll make any dent in that.

No. I mean to say i offered my webhosting at www.manwhoring.com free of charge to mp3car members. Because i love this community so much. either that, or i need to justify spending 6 bucks a month and 20 bucks a year to keep everything active.

                Thats awesome walleye..

I tried ftping into the site.. I can view files fine.. I just cant create directories under an anonymous account. Is there a procedure I have to follow or a login I should use?

it's an extra several dollars a month to support anonymous logins. instead, i had created a mp3car login... it's somewhere in the newbie forum.

That's a great job... I'm thinking more and more about the whole housing idea. How much was the housing? And did you have to take the screen out of the case to put it in?

MSIguy, I bought the TM701-L housing from digitalWW. I think there's a link to it on his website. If you want a Lilliput, you can purchase from me too. Yes you have to take the LCD, the VGA controller and the touchscreen out of the Lilliput to be put into the TM701-L housing. Its not difficult, but its not easy either. A lot of info can be found in the LCD forums.
