I also love the blue console but our customer wanted it black. Don't ask me why (I know I didn't ).

@Seth, so you're working for a company that modifies cars? Do you also do exterior, or just the interior?
Did you (your company) buy the carputer parts yourself for the customer, or did the customer give them to you to install?
                        Looks very good!

PS: Don't forget to take a few pics of it working when it's done!

                        My 2nd carputer - b4 I broke the touchscreen
My very first carputer - voted the most ghetto

We do interior installations only (carpc/audio). We build custom systems to our customer needs. I just wanted to tease you a little guys (yeah I'm a bad kitten ). I'll post some more pics when the car comes out of the paintshop both interior (with the pc in working state) and exterior.
                          Thanks

Wow, that's really cool! I actually didn't know that a service like that was available
Does your company specifically hires people that could build a computer and put it in the car, or do you mostly do stereo stuff?
Either way, that's a very interesting and creative job you got there!
Do you provide some sort of warranty for the computers you install?
That would be a dangerous policy. ,I think..

Well we are a small company (3 people) and I'd like to keep it that way. It's more like a hobby than a full time job.
We do provide 1 year warranty to all the parts except the HDD which can fail at any time. For that part our customer deals directly with the Maxtor dealer.

We do provide a software recovery DVD though
