    finaly my carproject is ready..

    Ok... here's my install..
I made the dash myself.. Seat has no room to house a lilliput

    Picture wile i'm driving..

Picture of the back.. lot of work here.. made a double floor.. beneath this there's my second amp my power converter and of course my spare wheel!!

I didn't made it myself.. someone who does this for a living asked a lot of money to furnish this, along with the floor...

And there it is.. the monster i created...
Yes i'm a bit proud of it....

I'll put more pics on my website.. so if you can't get enough...

      Wow, nice one mate.

Is the dash the satnav centre console, or did you make that all yourself?

      Cheers man

            ok then :P

Next question, where abouts did you run your power cable from, ie where in the bulkhead?

Also, are your standard door speakers run from the amp in the boot? If so, how easy was it to wire them into the map?

itīs not very hard to install a speaker-cable into the doors of a seat leon. i have 4 cables running to the trunk :-)

but if you want to power your speakers with a amp, i recommend you to install other speakers too.

              @thekingplaza...

yery clean install.... good work *thumbs up*

one question: your carpc is installed in the back... any problems with the extensions to the front (TS, VGA)?

thanks man.. you were my role model

I had some problems with my touchscreen.. the vga signal is good.. but the usb didn't work well.. sometimes it lost connection.. a hard reboot was the only solution (when driving) Just bought a USB2.0 card and the problems are gone!!!

The only thing left is when i startup in the morning the first 10 minutes my screen is scrambled up.. it looks a lot like a wrong refresh rate..

                Ta)
My power cable comes from the front.. it goes to the back (leftside of the car) all other cables are lying on the right side..
My speaker in the door are standard seat speakers.. they are good enough (for me) I wired them to an amp.. there are 2 amps in my car.. the one you see.. and other below everything.. (saving mony for a new one!!)

i had the same problem, that my screen wasnīt very clean the first minutes.

i tried an other vga-cable and changed the position of the cable... and now it works fine. PowerOn and the screen works

I got the double DIN dash arriving tomorrow, so gonna mod that while its not in the car, and get the screen looking perfect....
Then I get the dash swapped over, and get the carPC into the glovebox. This way i dont have problems with long usb cable/vga etc, and less power cables, keyboard mouse etc etc.... gotta remove the cd changer and see what room i have to get all me mini-itx in there
                      Wish me luck!
