    Hey

What sort of screen is that? Is it the in-Dash from digitalww?

If it is, it looks like you have taken the front bezel off it. What stops it from just sliding all the way out?

    Nice install BTW !

Nice job! I'm getting close to completing my install, but have chosen the no HU route. Amp will be sitting where your computer is and the PC will live under the passenger seat. I just finished replacing the rear speakers today, I'm not sure the wizards at acura could have made it any harder

Love the dampers and the fan cover.

Where did you put your gps receiver?

I put the GPS receiver right in the middle of the windshield (on the dash).... i get at least 10 or so satellites in site most of the time. Yeah, i gotta agree with you, the integra was definately NOT made for a carpc!!! in fact, its not even made for an LCD since the A/C controls come outwards. Oh well... the good thing is that i can always move this carpc to my next car in a year or two. (hopefully a new 2006 BMW 4-Series Coupe)

Looks really good. Question: Does when the monitor comes out does it hit the shifter??

How long ago did you order that motorized housing? I'm still waiting to find out what's going on with the one I pre-ordered months ago. It seems like everytime someone mentions how consistently terrible Armen is with customer service, someone pops up and says "Oh, don't worry! He's consistently terrible with customer service!" It's like telling someone who just got stabbed "Don't worry, you'll bleed now!" But I'm not trying to make this a "where the **** is Armen" thread. I'm just wondering when the motorized housing was ordered.

Anyway, I think you need a volume knob.

Murdermuppet: i ordered it about 2 weeks ago (since i had issues with my nonmotorized housing from day one, Armen did mine on his first batch that he got last week)

volume knob??? why would i need that? i have my aftermarket stereo with remote...

im also making a reset & power switch that comes to my center console...ill post pics when im finished with it

                      thanks guys!

Is that as far back that housing go? Can it not flush with your stereo?

I gotta say man.. when I saw this post and looked at those pics I was for sure I was going to see some riced out piece of ****.. But I'm very pleasantly surprised.. that's a really nice setup you got going there..

What does GPS service usually cost anyway?

Btw, how does that 7" screen REALLY look... I mean I'm worried about going with a smaller screen.. I can easily mount an 8" screen into 2 of my DIN slots and make it look really nice but I'm just so fricken afraid that it won't look good.. I plan to run windows desktop a lot.. however, that carmedia software **** looks pretty good with a touchscreen setup.. just makes me worried that I'll have to have everything so huge in order to see it..

With a bit of dremel'n and bondo work I could get a 10" screen to fit in my DIN slot area.. gotta remove the ashtray of course and cut into some of the plastic around the whole DIN slot area.. but it would look pretty sick I think.
