i can see it fine but yeah its a little too low, when i need to configure something that's not on frodoplayer or centrafuse, i end up crouching like a tiger, hidden like a dragon (pun intended ). i'm planning to move it up to where the stock head unit is on but i havent found a way to make a custom panel, i don't want to ruin the dash.
pinoy na pinoy, mura lang naman fabrication jan sa pinas ah? KAI audioworks could probably do that. are you the first pinoy carputer in manila? i was supposed to put a carputer the on one of our cars but i thot. d naman ako yung mag drive eh? so **** it. i did mine here at the bay! hahaha. i could have done much better if i were in manila tho. spending wise.... but so far so good. clean up lang! personally i hate seeing wires.
thanks vanman69, i hope it gets better soon, i agree with all of you, i hate them wires, they keep ruining my in-heavy-metromanila-traffic videos.
ericdee, bro maghahanap ako ng fabrication soon as i get the money hehe. glad to know some pinoys are also into this kind of geek stuff. hehe. i don't think im the first in manila but i'm hoping i make the top 5 first found out at least 2 other filipinos in the islands with carpc installs. by the way, lasallista ka rin ba?
anywho, i'll definitely fix my wiring, probably during the weekends
Chris31, haha that'd be a swell idea if it not for theft. "surf the net while stuck in traffic commuting". hey did you know they make airconditioned jeepneys now here? gets filled up easily during summers.
I've uploaded some screenshots of the carputer. read more about them on my blog.
HAHA that's a ghetto setup man. I think my first setup was WAAY more ghetto than that. Looking at your pics brought back so many memories. to tell you the truth I had that SAME keypad. I used like 2 6" ps2 extension cables too. LOL.
the computer consisted of a pentium 120mhz .. and like 32 or 64mb of ram.
I could never get that beast to play an mp3 w/o hiccuping
keep up the good work man, you'll get it nice soon
