  • 2000 Acura TL Carputer

    Hi yah,

After many months of reading and planning here is my work in progress(which ones aren't?) carputer.

What I did was buy a navigation dash bezel on ebay and rig it up to use with the lilliput. Luckily it was almost a perfect fit! I used jb quick weld to hold the lilliput frame in place.

    Comments would be much appreciated

PS: Like many people said the pics were not working so I uploaded them here. Goto post 6 for the rest.

Hehe they are in my closet right now I am ordering the navigation version of the temp controls which will end up going right where that little cd-holder thing is right now, above the radio.

Same results from two different computers (same ISP). Will try from my work computer on Monday.

                        nice install skippy.

our interiors are almost the same.

but doesnt the navi temperature controls use the navi screen to control some of the features?

that was a great idea to buy the stock navi dash.. how much did it cost you?

if i had thought of that it would have saved me a whole lot of time and money.

Dash cost me about 80bux including shipping. I will be buying the navi controls for the climate control but those run about 130! You don't need to use the navi as far as i know to do the a/c stuff just get the navi controls which will slide into the spot where the cd holder is. Only thing that im upset about is the glare. I can hardly see the screen during the suntime, so I will make a little box to go around it. I'll post pics of it when it is done.
