  • finally finished my pda install!

    finally finished my install!!

have to confess my systems not as mighty as sum of u guys!!
i put in a tapwave zodiac palmtop into the centre console.

its hooked up to my stereo so that i can listen to my mp3s

got a bluetooth headset wired up to my stereo too so that ive got in car audio to my phone.

managed to wire it all up so that the pda turns on and the bluetooth automatically connects to the phone when i start the car.

so basically u get in the car and start the ignition and it all turns on by itself (yep im pretty lazy!!)

had to chop up the centre console a bit and fibre glass it n stuff so it doesnt quite look factory fitted but im knackered from filing so il make do with the way it looks now!

il post sum pics if anyones interested!

Post the pictures!! What PDA did you choose? I am intrigued by some of the newer PDA's and their capabilities.

I had a PDA back in the day, but I just was not impressed with its capabilities. What exactly can you do with those things nowadays?

                          the install looks great!
Is this where the witty comment goes?

                            well...

i wldnt really be using it for too much stuff

basically mp3 gps, sometimes sms or email or internet

and watever else i think of down the line!

i used the tapwave zodiac 2 which is a brilliant palmtop

does well with video too! has a high res touch screen and not to mention instant start-up

thats why i ended up going for a palm top after much deliberation! hehe
