Wow, that camera is pretty crappy. The screen install is great, looks very stock. What are you going to do with the CPU, it looks a little unsecure where it is.

Be a nice son and buy your parents a decent digital camera. You have a computer in you car, and they're using a 1998 digicam?

Nice to see another TL install. How did you run the wires from the screen, wifi and gps to the computer? I'm going to run mine down the center console out to the trunk (hopefully).

Is the front passenger seat "useable" or does it always have to be all the way forward?

          Real clean install!!!

Did you take out the coin purse and cig lighter as well? More pics when you get a chance!

LOL they bought a sony minidv cam and they usually use that.

I ran them down the center console to under the seat and yes the passenger seat is usable. I had them under the drivers seat but it would hit the hydraulics for the lifting of that seat so I moved them.

Yes the coin purse is gone and cig lighter was detached and is now behind the console powering the Xenarc TS.

The Wifi is velcroed above my seatbelt and the wires run inside of the plastic siding on our chairs and under the drivers seat then over to the computer. The GPS runs along the plastic piece on the passenger side of the backseat that runs along with the step then under the seat to the computer. I need to redo the dash piece its a bit too fragile should have done it all with fiberglass instead of just the base.

I recently had to redo it because I used the wrong materials last time.

                      So I took it out

                      Took the paint off

                      added some ****

                      added some more ****

                      sanded then primed

Sanded down the primer then added spot puddy

                      added some sandable primer

between each layer of paint I watched one episode of thundercats, got all the episodes *****es!

                      done

MP3, Video, GPS, Internet...all while on the cellphone and drinking a slurpee!

It's still not perfect but I was just tired of sanding and painting and was like **** it! I just put the card reader there for ****s and giggles but will probably end up moving it or building it into the dash below the cd player...meh

If anyone can give me some tips on how to paint it so the holes where the buttons are dont get filled with paint and end up pushing it out when I put it back it will be great!

Looks good. I especially like how you've kept the buttons for your screen, I just have a hole for the IR!

The screen portion looks great, but the computer side of things looks a little . . . uncared for. Any plans to make it a bit more permanent looking?
