  • Almost done with 2002 Skoda Octavia...

    Having sold my old focus with a carpc I couldnt not have one in my new car!


    2002 Skoda Octavia 1.8T elegance 4x4

    ICE
    Alpine H700
    MBQuart 216qm componants
    Alpine F200 for tweeters
    JL 300/2 for midbass
    Alpine M200 for sub
    Infinity 1220w sub
    The sub and amp will be changing in the near future, but gets some bottom end in for now!

    I havent got the lead for the h700 fascia yet so not powered up in these shots, will chuck up another one when it arrives!

    PC
    M1000
    hd, ram etc!
    slim slot load cd drive
    linitx screen moulded into dash

    various other bits and pieces!

              oh well, pity but then it is a 3 year old car so would presume that someone had moulded a screen into one! I know there are others with pcs in their cars though...

                I remeber only one red Octavia SW, but that had a motorized unit...

                    nice setup man, i really like your control panel , can we steal the ideea? if the answer is yes can you post the diagram or the way you hooked up leds and switches

                        not got a diagram, but basially just taken a feed from all the fuses, so if they blow the led goes out.

                        Feel free to use the idea, changed me setup now anyway!

                            Oh, thanks man, i think i got it, i think you pulled some wires from motherboard connectors for hdd activity,power on, audio etc. Thank you!

                              Those must be very long, thin cables then run from the motherboard right up to your LEDs, do they still function fine over the distance?
