You should spend more time on the job and not on the pictures.

Sorry, but in my opinion it look really terrible. The paint, the switch on the dash. I really don't like worklogs like this. You should better take your time but than u have somethink really nice.

what am i basing my comments on? the fact that it was a pretty big change to his existing dash. it turned out to be a nice in-dash setup. that's why he gets props.

What makes you think his setup is NOT PRO by far.

and by pro, i meant it's very clean, nicely done. good placement of the head unit and screen. really well thought out.

am I missing something - i think i am. what is it?

I think it's because you are naive

if that's clean, and really well thought out, I'm floored...

cutting a hole in the center of your dash and just putting the hazard button there? come on!

I know it's harsh, but it's a hack job at best.

if the guy is cool with it, then by all means, it's fine, but it's nearly an insult to all the professionals out there that you called that professional looking.

I agree about the hazard button just being throw onto the dash - that's ugly. If he could have flush mounted the button (into a different location), I think it would have definitely been a nicer way to relocate it. It's a good idea to have that button easily accessible. The method of putting it there however is not good. The installation of the screen I thought was really nice. The bezel which he painted came out nice and the screen ALMOST looks factory in the location he put it in.

There is no right or wrong in terms of opinions. Some may even say this install is ugly - it's their call. To each is own, right? Everyone has their "concept" of what good/clean/nice is. Mine may differ from yours and vice versa.

true - but I'll still stand behind my comment that it is in NO way professional.
