    NEW BEZEL

The Center Console - Bezel with the 10.4" LCD VGA Touchscreen Monitor, with a custom din bezel for my dual layer dvd/cd burner. For anyone who knows mustangs you know what I've done here. For those who don't, this center bezel has the hvac vents up top, followed by a din for the hvac controls, and then 2 dins for audio equipment. That should give you an idea of what I've done..

Looks good. I was looking to do something similar with my stang.

Where did you relocate the HVAC controls?

        Same question.

I have a 1998 GT, and I relocated my HVAC controls to the area where you have the red toggle switches installed (just in front of the shifter). I didn't want to lose my headunit, so I installed it in the lower DIN space (where the factory location for the CD player is) and I have a 7" touchscreen in the space formerly occupied by the HVAC and upper DIN.

From the pics, I'm guessing that means your HVAC controls are in the location formerly occupied by your cupholder. That, or you just set the temp at 75 degrees and fan speed at 1/2, and are content. ;-) I'd like to see pics of your HVAC install, if you don't mind...

Also, I sent ya a private message about the fate of your old saddle leather interior...

Hmmm...computer controlled HVAC huh? Are you planning on adapting a Ford unit or using something aftermarket? I hadn't heard of any aftermarket equipment...

                More pics

My Center Console (This is the console from a 96, because I hated the 98's cupholders):

Ignore the mini-itx comment in the camera pic. I'm using the MicroATX board with a USB Aud/Vid Capture device.

Back Seat is finished!!! There actually isn't a back seat, but a nice solid enclosure (bottom of seat area and back of seat area) for the pc and peripherals. All hidden and tucked away.

If you know what a mustang convertible's back seat looks like... here's mine.
Back isn't completed, but it's heading that direction. It will be completly key lockable and with no 'windows' to deter theft. There are 3 12v fans behind the laptop to exhaust the hot air.

Laptop is no longer used. See other pics...

Looks much better now than in this pic... I'll have to get some updated pics.

                      Thanks!!

                      The switches are for:

Switch 1 - Strobe lights mounted behind the grills and scoops in the front of the car
Switch 2 - Temp Disables the door chime so I can have the key in the ignition with the door open without the chime driving me bonkers
Switch 3 - Temp allows me to raise/lower the convertible top WITHOUT having to set the parking brake like normal. Good for while you're moving at 5mph in traffic and the clouds are turning dark over head...
Switch 4 - Turns on the bullet camera that records all that happens in front of me.

                      :-)

See post 31 for the update on switches, etc

Are you in the police, fire or is it because of the military that you have the strobes. (just out of personal curiosity.)
