Did you get the 816 (that's where the link goes?) I have that one and love it. It gets kinda hot though, and occasionally loses the calibration, but a great deal for sure.
HOW do i know if its the 816? all i know is i did research on this screen and they have HITACHI lcds in them thats why i bought it, opened mine up and sure enough its hitachi! great screen, a little hard during the day to see but im going to get the windows tinted soon to fix that
By search google you mean for the official product page right? You're not condoning pirated software are you? IG4 is well worth the money it costs, and there should be no reason to pirate it.
i cant tell people to pirate software! im saying google is where i found my info il update a link to go to the manafactures website
yeah its been installed for a year, its works well, i havent compaired it to anything else YET but i want to get another car put together SOON and i will be going with a different screen to see if more $ = more
night update (sorry no video yet)
Went shopping after work picked up some FAB stuff, got ALOT of fleece alot of brushes
going to get a staple gun tomorrow and start learning how to play with that stuff should prove to be a good "talent" in the car pc world, ideas are flowing and im trying to get everything orginized, thinking an added speakers in the hatch that where on a pivot to turn from facing towards the driver, then turnaround to face out the hatch when listening at the park... pics to come
here is ALL my fiberglass materials ... YES the gummy bears are a necessity
taking the camera to work assuming its a nice day out (living in seattle currently raining) so i can get some pics at least of what is done
You will probably need more resin and/or more mat. That little container will barely do one speaker pod. If you go to home depot, they have gallon sized cans, and as I've learned in my failed attempt at a fiberglass sub box, fleece is thirsty. You might also want to get some of the Glad plastic containers, the disposeable kind, so that you can mix a batch of resin in one, and as it's drying and curing, you have a new clean container for the next batch. Once the resin is kind of cured, you can just crack it out of the container.
Lastly, you might want to get some drop plastic (the kind used for painting to protect the carpet) to protect your interior if you plan on doing any resin work in the vehicle. Blue painters tape wouldn't be a bad idea as well.
Good luck with your fab work.
thanks man for the tips that little can is what was purchased to learn with (small projects here and there) i notice somethign missing form my picture too! [checking recipt] ... dang it i think they charged me for my plastic spread but it never got put in the bag... go figure ehh... nexson recommended the paper cups for the small projects but the glad plastic ones prob work best on the big stuff huh?
any other tips on that subject matter (even thou i know there is a great fab forum) are welcome here too
