Got my system in in two days work. This includes screen install, custom spare wheel case and running all wires. So that's not too bad :-)

Unfortunately i kinda misplaced one single small wire that goes from the power leads to the PSU. And to make matters worse everything is powered directly from this PSU ... so everything is in the car, but nothing works :-((

Is that power supply enough for that board? You may want to check it using one of the power calculators. I only have an Epia M10000 but from what I've read, the P4's are pretty power hungry.

have you tested the system with those power supplies running on the car battery yet?

that does seem like a hefty system to run on only 120W, although I'm not very familiar with the power consumption of celerons so I can't say whether that's enough power.
But don't take it from me! here's a quote from a real, live newbie:

That would be the power supply, it was to big to fit right into the atx slot so i had to buy an extension cable, this making the power supply with no fixing. The box is a waterproof switch contact enclosure i thought it would be ideal and neat to use this to house the psu
