  • Pc Car and sub

Hey guys im thinking about adding a pc to my car, however the pc that i will be using only has one lineout output, now if im correct i will need to get a splitter and a 2 way amp for my mid's, now for my sub can i use the same line comming from my pc? wouldnt i need a lineout converter for my sub so it only gets the low sounds. and one more question how would a pc sound when compared to a normal head unit?

    thanks

You can just split the RCA-out, Unless you don't have x-overs on your amp. A "regular HU" doesn't exist. There's $50 HU's that are plaine crap, there's $200 HU's that are ok, and there's $500+ HU's that are really nice. But yeah, onboard sound of a pc is just crap

I didn't say that... I said on-board sound is usually crap... That doesn't mean you need a HU specificly, you could also go with good quality soundcard.

Another option would be to use a preamp and/or EQ that will do all of that for you. That's the whole purpose of my AudioControl Three.1
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
          How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

I have done this in the past as well. Works great.
