    Does anyone have a clue how much wattage the factory bose amp puts out per channel

    my bose put out ~7 wpc @ <2 ohms IIRC to the door subs

          sorry, i posted that in a rush. the spec i approximated was for the 8" woofers in my car. the two woofers are powered by dedicated amps. the subs are below 2 ohms which means that you can halve the power if you hook it up to a 4 ohm speaker. the upper freq. are handled by the head unit and are normal 4 ohm speakers. the rears are also powered off the deck and are 4 ohm speakers. keep in mind this may not be the same across the gm line, it's just waht i know for the the specific gm car that i have. warx was right with his range. i think the woofers see closer to the high value of that 13 wpc then the originally state 7 wpc. though i wouldn't doubt the 'twiddlers' and the rear speakers are down at around 7wpc
