I would like to know if it would be a good idea to hook this up.

I have 4 pioneer 4-way speakers with 50 rms each and have 4 ohm resistance.
Im going to get 1 CDT audio 10" subwoofer ( EF 100) wich has one 4 ohm voice coil and has 250 RMS.

Is this amp a good way to go with this?

    Power acoustik ts960.

RMS Power Output: 100 Watts X 4 Channels at 4 ohm
    Birdged Output (4 ohm): 250 Watts X 2 Channels

I figured that if i hook up two speakers to one channel twice, and the subwoofer bridged to the other two channels, the power distribution should be perfect! Is this the case? please let me know if it is in fact that simple!

no match. The amp will not get his ratings. So you don't have enough power for your sub. And even if it does get to the staed ratings, you could probably kill your pioneer 4-ways.

I'd look at something second hand. Or if you really want something new, hifonics or something might be your answer. Just remember to look at namebrands and you should be good.

If you want a decent 4-channel with cheap pricing, find PG Octane on sonicelectronix.com

They're selling one type below $100.. I think that's enough for your speakers. For the sub, you can use hifonic as C30 said or Blaupunkt 1350 or Alpine MRP-M450. They're just above $100

ok, bad advise csxian. I know you're trying to help, but the octane-R's are probably even worse than Ádimension amps

It's gonna be hard to find a 5-channel for 150, unless you look for a second hand one. My advise to keep it as cheap os possiblr, would be: Buy a 4-channel amp (ofcourse of a decent brand), hook up the front speakers to the 2 front channels, bridge the 2 rear channels for the sub, and power the rear speakers straight of the deck (or even better would be not to use them at all). An other option would be again to buy a 4-channel and wire your front and back speakers in parrallel on the 2 front channels, and the sub bridged on the 2 rear channels. That way you won't be able to fade between front and back though, and you'll loose some sound quality in 2 Ohm load.
