  • Tuning an eqaulizer manually

    Hi All,

I have just recently installed a new pioneer, head unit, amp and speakers with tweeters in my four wheel drive and have been fairly happy with it.
It is all very good qaulity gear however i just have one problem with the sound.

It seems as though the cymbals, high hat on the drums and when the singer is singing an S it seems way to loud.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me which setting on the custom eqaulizer setting would be the one to change this, or if you can suggest the best of all of the custom settings, mostly listen to rock, pop music.

    thanks in advance

    Brett

What speakers are you using? Crossovers? It could be you need to set it up on a -dB with the tweeters...
Most crossovers have for example, a 0dB, -3dB, -6dB for the tweeters...
If not, then make a cut at the EQ in the 2500Hz to 5000Hz range I guess.
