  • USB Radio from brando?

I've search the forums for anyone that has tried this usb fm radio from brand but couldn't find anything?

    http://usb.brando.com/usb-radio_p00136c035d015.html

Not much information but the application screenshot looks a lot like the Silabs one.

it would work in a pinch, but you are severly limiting anything you listen to with an FM modulator. it doesnt matter how good the transmitter is, the FM format is so compressed that it makes even the best equipment sound like crap.

I think I read on the DC forum that it is the same as the silabs and it does work. Do not qoute me on that but I would suggest searching over there to verify. Just did a quick search and this is the result http://www.digital-car.co.uk/forum/s...&postcount=239 so I think you should be good.

It looks like that one comes with a real antenna, unlike the Silabs one.

I'm a bit weary of that one tho. If you hadn't show us this particular model, I would have not known it existed. I've Googled it, and it hasn't appeared anywhere else...
