  • Hook up speakers and sub to mono amplifier?

    Hello,
I was wondering if you can hook up a pair of speakers and one subwoofer to a mono amplifier?
I have the alpine SPS-600C component speaker set and the alpine SWR-1242D subwoofer that I wanted to hook up to one an alpine MRP-M500 amplifer.
    Thanks.

there is no good way to do this. you will need a different amp.

you can hook up the sub, but mono amps are never really designed to be used for anything else other than sub duty.

hooking up 6x9's to 600 watts is a good way to blow them.

mono amp is good for the sub. get alpines 4 channel amp that is true 50 watts per channel. it will work well with your component set.
