  • I can hear the mouse move across the screen!

I have noticed a recent static issue and was trying to pinpoint the source.

I am using the Car2PC-HON1 to connect my computer to my 03 Accord HU.

I hear a pulsing crackle every now and then. It will come out of both L/R, but not at the same time. It seems to auickly pulse left, right, left, right, etc for a second or two then go away.
I can also seem to create this noise by using my mouse on the computer that it is connected to. It does not seem to be related to engine noise for it can do this without the engine ON.

Perhaps I have my computer master volume set too high? I have heard that can cause an over voltage issue and create static. But does that explain the mouse movement induced static? Any other ideas?

Most likely interference of some type. Are the audio wires of good quality? Do they run near the power supply or USB cabling?

I've heard mouse sounds over audio before. Not sure if they sound like what you are describing. More of a bippety-bippety-bippety sound as you move the cursor.

Yes, it is sort of a 'bippety' type noise - very short and repeating alternating to either L/R audio channels.

The audio cables I got are ok,. nothing over the top but not the lowest quality out there. Yes the audio wires run close the USB/DC voltage lines - but this is a new sound.(from what I can tell). The only change point is that I finally mounted my PC case in the trunk (it was just sitting there) and that I correctly put in the drivers for car2pc.
