  • 98 toyota 4runner wiring diagram

    i have everything(800 amp, 2 1200 subs) hooked up and ready to go the only thing i need is the diagram to connect the car to the new head unit.
    If anyone could post the 1998 toyota 4runner wiring diagram, that would be awesome.
    (i tried everything google, every website you can think of)

    Sometimes you can find vehicle specific wiring at brand/vehicle forums. Otherwise the easy way is to buy the wiring harness for that vehicle. The wiring harness will plug into your factory plug and the wiring color should match up to the wires coming out of the new headunit. Best buy carries these harnesses or you can order online at many places.







    Like this, make sure the plugs look the same.

      If you want to cut the factory plug off, (which I don't recommend, use a wiring harness like mentioned above) Here is a link to the factory wiring diagram: http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/...tail/2027.html

        just always be careful following online wiring diagrams-- when hooking up my alarm, i found 3 different wire guides, and some of each had different wire colors for different features-- none of the diagrams were exactly the same as my car.

        try to test the wire combos as much as possible with a volt meter first.
