  • How to get my sound right???

I have a pioneer head unit with front aux but no rear aux input, so I have to use a fm modulator(which sucks) to get sound from my PC to my car speakers. When I turn my volume up past 30, I get serious feedback through my speakers. How can I remedy this without having to buy a new head unit(which is exactly what I will do if I can't find a solution.

    Thanks in advance!!

how do you get feedback? do you have a mic that is not muting? even when i ran a ipod and deh-p7900, i usually had it closer to the 40-62 mark w/ no feedback

also, you didn't mention the deck you have-- if it has a P-Bus input, pioneer offers a aux input that can connect to that.(CD-RB-10 is just the aux input, CD-RB-20 is with a p-bus input to allow more p-bus devices.. )

Never even thought the mic was the culprit...The problem started when I installed the mic. How do I get it to auto mute in xp?

I think I'll just manually mute it. I think there is a toggle button on the task bar for the mic...hope it works out(at least until I can come up with something better).
