  • Does silabs provide artist/song info?

I was considering purchasing an HD radio setup, but that gets very expensive, very quick - especially for somebody on a budget like myself. My interest in HD radio in the first place, was to have the ability to see artist/song info - does the silabs usb setup provide this? (through centrafuse of course)

I didn't think the Silabs USB radio units were HD Radio compatible.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

I remember seeing a youtube video with the silabs software showing the artist/song being played at the time - someone feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken...

Silabs is a not for automotive use tuner, while it works, it works, its just not ideal...(FM only too).
its a RDS tuner, so what ever the broadcaster sends you can get
there is NO offical artist/song info defined in RDS, and in USA, RDS is dying fast....
        for artist/song, its HD Radio...
        -Thanks

Ahh, I see. What are the good tuners available then? Having radio available is nice at times.
