  • Help wiring 4 channel amp Ford Focus MK1

    Hi,

Basically I am going to be starting with a new carputer install from my Fiat Brava to my Ford Focus. However I haven't completely decided on a setup yet, but no matter what I need an amp. So I thought I'd get that out of the way now.
I already have a 0AWG power cable going to my boot to power my sub/amp. I was probably going to move my distribution box to the front (passenger footwell) and run 2 4AWG cables to each amp. 0AWG make a small bulge in the carpet =(. I can then use the left over 0AWG for better grounding.

    Couple of questions:
    1) I have been looking at StevieG's carputer build (amazing) and will probably try for a similar setup. I was planning on fitting my 4 channel amp under the passenger seat (if it fits) power down the passenger side and audio through the centre console. StevieG has the speaker wiring going into a plug that fits directly into the stock speaker plug. There's a picture on his website http://www.stevieg.org/carpc/install...ing/index.html
How would one come across one of these?

    2) Quality wiring. I live in the UK and want some good quality speaker wiring for this, also single wire for trip computer install etc. Where is the best place and what do I need to look for? I have had some s**t in the past.

    Thanks
    JM
