  • Chrysler RBQ headunit

I want to send MP3 audio from my Creative Jukebox3 via a hard wired connection to my Chrysler RBQ HU,with an integral 6-CD changer. It has a 10 pin jack on its backside, which is designed to accept a Sirius radio signal.

Has anyone accomplished tricking this jack to accept an auxiliary analog or perhaps digital signal?

There are 2 or 3 commercially available adaptors available, but they are listed as incompatible with this RBQ headunit.

I've opened up the HU, but can't identify any point on the PCB where I'd inject an audio signal.

I'm reasonably comfortable, doing modding and soldering.

    Can anyone help me?

I'm in the same boat as you. Let me know if you find a solution and I'll do the same. For now I'm using a wired FM modulator. Still trying to eliminate all of the background noise associated with it but it is working much better then the several wireless FM transmitters I tried. I've emailed a couple of the adapter companies and have not recieved any replies.
