    hi all,
this is my first time coming here and the site looks great...I have a question...I'm looking for a PC radio similar to the d-link usb radio that went for around 20$. I can't find it in the states anymore...does anyone know where that unit or a similar one can be found...for a reasonable price? Also are there AM/FM pc radio units out there as well?

Please move this thread if i put it in the wrong place...

    thanx,
    saabvos

    Firstly, Welcome to the forums,
secondly, Wrong thread! should be general hardware disscussion,
Thirdly, DSB-R100 now discontinued everywhere, you may find one on ebay now and then, or just ask here somebody may want to sell you theres

I think the latter is probably a better solution.

Do a search on the D-link, you will find many reviews, and some threads about simple modifications to improve the reception (ie. just adding a ground wire, or solid nice connection to your existing car antenna).

Anyone have any idea if this ebay card would be supported by radiator?

                  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

I'm looking for something that would be compatible with some of the interfaces we have available (Frodoplayer, MediaCar, ect.), but I'm not too sure which one would work. Thanks.

The Gemtek Radioman AM/FM is available for ~$20 and is radiator (FM only) compatible. It's the same hardware as the DLINK just RS232 instead of USB. If you need USB, then add a USB->RS232 converter for ~$10. Reception quality is as described above and elsewhere in these forums (i.e. not real great).
