  • alpine cda 9811 aux in help

I bought the ai-net adapter that plugs into my cd changer port. Do I have to do anything else to get aux in functionality? I plugged in my video ipod to test it and I get no sound. I searched the forums and found that I may have to install an interrupt switch or something. Is that right? Anyone have instructions on it. I'm not very good at wiring so the more details the better. Thanks!

Did you go into the settings on the headunit and turn on the Aux in setting. Give that a try and it should work without anything else

I looked for the settings for enabling aux in but i couldn't find them. I don't have a manual because the stereo came with the care when I got it.

          Solution!!!

I figured it out! There's a switch on the underside of the deck. Flip the switch first. Next mute the deck and hit play on your iPod (my case) and it should work. I'm thinking it's going to work the same way for my carputer once I finish the install.
