  • Mute Doesn't Mute on M10k?

I have my M10k with the onboard sound card hooked up to my Alpine MRP-F200 (360W) 4-channel amp. The main audio output is split up over two and goes to the the pairs on the amp (one to ch1+2 and another to ch3+4).

I noticed something very interesting. When I press mute in RoadRunner (mutes the master volume), I can still hear the music playing very very quitely... especially at night if I'm parked and it's quiet around.

Is this the fault of the onboard sound card?

No one? Perhaps I posted in the wrong forum?

What happens when you mute from the control panel? Same thing? It may just be attenuating the voltage enough to where it normally wouldn't be a problem with computer speakers.

        Hmm, I tried this:

Mutting both the Master and Wave at the same time... it's completely quiet when I do. Either one of them muted alone still leaks. Time to go ask on the RoadRunner forums!
