  • adjustable passive crossover???

    hi, I feel my tweeter is too loud relatively to the mid-range speaker, and have no EQ installed but a 6 ch. line driver. is there anyway to reduce the signal goes to the tweeter?

    i guess you could install a variable pot inline to the tweeter. i know cdt makes a device that is similar to what you're describing.

      A linear taper pot would be a halfway solution to this. I suggest you read up on crossover design. You can find some info in some of the threads in the FAQ emporium.

        i'm sure this type of system has it's drawbacks (though i've heard a lot of great things about this too) but; you could possibly just purchase the attenuators sold with this kit:
