  • Vauxhall Vectra C, CD30 Stereo

    Hi all

    First post so be gentle!

Used to run my Car PC in an older vehicle I had some time ago. Ran a decent HU with Aux inputs. Now I have a new car, and I remembered about the ITX PC I had in my office. Problem is I want to keep the exisiting Vaux Headunit (CD30), which doesnt have a direct Aux Input.

To make it more interesting, I have recently installed a Parrott Handsfree Kit using the SOT-122 lead. Works well, but it only works as the parrott has a special muting box. SOT leads are meant to allow any external source to overide the stereo.....?? Am I right here (Sound On Top).

If I connect up the pc, I need to be able to somehow splice into the looms to get the sound to at least the front speakers. Is there an easy way of doing this?? Any equipment on the market? Line Driver type units that will allow me to plug in a two phono rca input and then output to my stereo (as the setup in my car has usual woofer and tweeter in each door and a centre speaker in the dash).

Did a search on many vectra owners forums but cant find my answers. Hope you guys can help!
