  • BMW X5 Wiring Harness

    I have a 2002 BMW X5 3.0i

I purchased a wiring harness for it, I hooked up my amp and carpc to it. I can not get any sound to come out of the speakers. I hooked up a speaker to it and i get sound. I just cant get any sound through the factory speakers. My factory head didnt have a CD Changer.

Anyone have any idea why this doesnt work?

Much support and help would be appreciated.

I got a after market harness. I took a regular little speaker, hooked it from the amps output that goes to the speakers. It played on all connections. The amp was connected to my carpc.

        Figured out!

Ill later post a howto on this. Because there is ONE wire that has to be jumpered to make this work. You dont even need a AMP if you have a BMW 2002 3.0i without DPS. Im using the factory amp with mine. Sounds great, smooth.

Anyways....Ill be posting what I done to get mine working.

              Holy thread ressurection...

If one side of speakers is off, your best bet is that the amp have blown a fuse... worst off, you need a new amp.
All depending on what sound system you have in you car, you have everything from 4 to 8 wires, and to deem them all a fault would be out of question...
