Ok, i ve got a Power Acoustik system.

I got a TS 1440. Its a 2 channel amp, Mono RMS= 720, 1440 watts max, RMS= 300x2CH at 4 ohm, RMS= 360x2CH at 2 ohm.

I've also got a Fubr 12 which has 700 RMS, 1800 max. This woofer has dual 2 ohm voice coils.

(I only have have and need to wire one woofer.)

Should I...

Wire each voice coil to each channel of the amp separetly thus having 2 ohms going into each channel.

OR

Wire it in series to create a 4 ohm load and bridge it on my amp?

Which option (if at all) would give me better sound quality? be louder? be more safe for both the amp and the woofer?

Also, I paid a total of $300 for these 2 components and a ported box... is that good?
