  • Can any one rate this?

    1 Power Acoustik TS 1440 amp, 720 RMS, two channel, 1440 max, 2 ohm stable
    1 Power Acoustik Fubr 12, 200 Oz magnet, 700 RMS, 1800 max, dual 2 ohm VC, 91 DB, non-pressed paper cone.

    $210 brand new with 1 year warranty on both.
    Is that price worth it? how good is the overall system (with a ported box)?

      i think there are better products out there for not that much more. i searched for specs and couldn't find anything, i highly doubt that it'll but out 720wrms x 1 @ 4 ohms

      maybe an infinity mono amp:

      and a tc-sound db500 while they last (haven't heard this sub yet but for the price it's hard to beat)

        Yeah the woofer is in the mail but i was still wondering if what i got/am getting is good.
        Is it really true that the more Dacibels and the heavier the magnet the better? what about the rms? because i thought that this woofer had really good specs

          the decibels figure is most likely the sensitivity of the woofer, though it doesn't make as much of a difference in subs as it would other speakers. rms also doesn't factor in all that much, most quality subs can handle a well over thier rated rms power handling.

            So in relation to most other around $200 systems, its not so good? as far as loudness and sound quality?

              91 dB at what frequency?

              Yep you guessed it, the international standard "test" frequency..

              1000 Hz. If your sub is going to play 1000 Hz then this is a useful measure.
