I'm looking at buying one of your p1290 power supplies, but I have a few questions your retailers couldn't answer. I'll start with a brief description of my situation - I'm planning to run a book pc with a BKi810 motherboard - a custom board in the sense that it doesn't quite comply with any motherboard standard. This becomes an issue because instead of a standard 20 pin power supply connector, I have a 6 pin connector and a custom power supply. The six wires are two +12volt, two ground, one +5 volt and a power/trigger wire. Is the output on the p1290 regulated well enough that I could make a custom header and wire the ps straight to my motherboard, or do I still need to use one of the morex-type adapters to regulate power?
