  • 12v constant was disconnected and P1900 stopped working

i drove to work this morning and everything was working fine. On the way to lunch the p1900 did not start up. when i unplugged the input to the p1900 and plugged it back in i got a led fault code of 2 flashes, a pause, and then 4 flashes. i tried reading the led fault codes but i don't understand what the % and * mean. after some digging around, i discovered that a solder joint had come apart on my 12v wire coming from the battery. after resoldering the wire, the p1900 still shows the same fault code and does not work. i don't know what to try next. please help. thanks in advance.

This is not a fault code. This is an indication of the firmware version. It should actaully read 2.3 (not 2.4). If you are getting the 2.3 sequence then the P1900 is ready for ignition. Double check to see if you are actaully providing +12V on the ignition line.
