  • Pinout OBDII BMW

    Hello everybody,

I am from Spain and this is my first post. I hope find here answers for my dubs and give you help whenever i can.

    I am trying to conect a interface to my bmw 2001 E46 with OBD2. I only need +12v, -12v, and I-bus signal.

I donīt know what pin number of obd2 is for i-bus signal.

    Can somebody help me???

    Thanks

    Hi,

I assume that you are aware that if it is the 320d you are trying to connect to it is unlikely to be OBD2 compliant. EU diesel vehicles were only required to be compliant from 2004.

I believe the ibus is for audio and video, not OBD2. You cannot tap this signal from the DLC.

If you are looking to connect to the iBus, look at this OBDII reader, it is spendy, but has alot of features...
