    ok well first off i would like to say hello ans my name is derrick i have an 05 scion xb and i did some work to the dash about 2 to 2.5 years ago and now its time for a change ok well i put a 7" monitor in and this is how it looked
    now i put a new 10.4" in the dash and i like it so far still have a lot of work but i just wanted to post it so far.

    Looks very interesting. I have an '06 xB and am planning a 10.4 up at the top. Did you have any trouble moving the climate controls?

      not at all dont have to do any thing all the wires are long and dont need to be extended
      the only thing you have to do is trim one of the two bars going to your 2 outer ac diles the one that runs from the driver side to the passanger side has to be cut a little

        I just went through a long process to get a good setup for the head unit down in the cubbyhole area, and I like the way it works. I kept the head unit because I like the steering wheel controls. Now I've been wondering about putting the climate controls on top -- a logical place for them -- and placing the screen between them and the head unit.
