As always, your work is amazing, even at the fine-detail level.

One thing that might add to the impact is comparison shots: at the end of the series, put the "before" picture, and accompany it with an "after" shot of the finished piece in the same position as it is in the "before" picture. I think the "Wow!" factor might be even greater.

You might even go back and add that "after" shot to the first post, too.

        Fine work, Brian.

Thank you! The button was one of the first that I have done like that. It sometimes amazes me how I can picture it all in my mind before I even start. I am glad to have already worked on an EVO X

Hey! You see I took your advice for a little background in the final pictures. I will admit that it can get alot better. That is actually just the fleece I use to wrap each job in before I send it out. I have to check out the fabric section to find a nice material to use. Also, I will have to take your advice on the before and after pictures. Usually I am too excited to get it shipped out ASAP for the customer that I miss the chance to do the final, final pictures.

We each have our talenets. You possess talents I do not have, and it goes on for everyone else. I have just chosen to capitalize on this talent, and through MP3car.com, I have found what I truly love to work on.

Thanks! I always have to hold my breath when I send fabrications out, just because who I am, I am not satisfied until the customer is satisfied with what they have paid for.

Looks great and I can't wait for the install. Link me to the thread, if you post on the EVO forums.

Very tidy build. I especially like how you angled the buttons. That's a very OEM touch.

Is that a special paint, or did you just do the 'misting' application?

I usually put several light coats of sand-n-fill primer like that. If you use that (it's basically very thick primer) you can get the part looking really good and don't need to be an expert body/filler man.

So your finished product is only primer? Looks realy good....

I'm not sure what paint he used, but when I do it I usually get the automotive grade exterior paint. When I do interior stuff I usually spray a few coats of the exterior paint, but from a little further away than recommended. This gives a good color, but slightly textured finish that even further hides any imperfections.
