  • 2004 Cadillac Escalade Center Console Monitor Fab, DIY Help Inside!! 73 Pics =)

    Hey Guys!

I haven't posted work in a while, but the truth is that I have still been hard at work, making new exciting things! My recent adventure has been into the world of automotive painting. At any rate, I wanted to show a project of mine that I was able to do for a member. I tried to take as much pictures as possible to show the process I use, to possibly help out DIY-ers, no secrets here. I took pictures of what grits I use and which products I use and at which point in time that I use the,

Props go out to Phoenix Imaging once again for their stellar wood grain work.

Here we have a 2004 Cadillac Escalade, I will let the pictures do the talking =)

    Enjoy!

I have pretty much resolved to only doing the small stuff. I actually have part 3 coming of all the work I have been doing =). That thread will have alot more Paint work in it.

So if I have small items, you can do those for me? I have lots of small stuff and then like 4 large projects, 1 of which I think will be really easy for you. The three large ones of course is the dash project, side mirror project, and ceiling console system project. All the small projects is basically just repairing things I have damaged.

              Sending you a PM.

                  Hey Nexson,

Nice work, as always! I just got a 2006 Escalade (sold the DTS) and will be plotting and planning my install this fall. Wanted to do something similar to this at first, but have been kicking around a different direction...we shall see.

Anyway, glad to hear you got some practice in on that dude's escalade,

                  Kudos to Phoenix once again!

Congrats on the new ride! Is the 2004 interior the same as the 2006? Maybe you can send me some pics of the interior and I can give you some ideas.

Same interior as the 2004, different wood grain pattern though. Factory NAV, but I still want a PC.

Whatcha got in the way of ideas? I was thinking it would be cool to move some of those factory comonents arount, ditch the clock, CD and cubby hole, and make it look like the 2007 with a center command console...

Want to spec something out for me?

                        TY Nexon!
