ok wasnt sure whether or not to put this in the ipad section or this...so sorry if its in the wrong section...

i am going to be putting an ipad in a chevy cobalt pretty soon and the problem im having is that the radio bezel is to small...if i bring it right to the top of the HVAC i will still be blocking the lower directional knobs for the vents....i dont really want to move the HVAC controls but if i have to i will...

    any suggestions?

this is what im working with...im going to be installing the ipad in landscape not portrait

I don't really use the center vents but when I do I never change the direction from left to right..do you think I can maybe fab the iPad out furthers it doesn't hit the knobs?

Cut a piece of cardboard the exact size of the iPad and hold it up in front of the bezel to get an idea of what you'll have to do to fit it. My worklog has pics of how I did it.

yeah when i did it i just used a tape measure to try to get a rough estimate.
i want to try to avoid moving the HVAC controls as much as possible....i like the way you did it though
